"Imperial" Roller Ball Pen by Frank Lloyd Wright
“Imperial” Roller Ball Pen, a design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, comes from ACME Studio's Printed Roller Ball Pens. The design, on a black background, is based on the pattern used in the informal dining room of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan commissioned in 1916. The pen comes with one black roller ball refill. Artist’s signature is engraved on the cap band and “ACME” is on the clip. The pen is presented in a metal Frank Lloyd Wright tin with a black sleeve and ACME literature.
ACME Studio writing instruments are well designed with a comfortable weight and shape. Pens are constructed using metal barrels with hand applied color images - the finest lacquers are used. Quality manufacturing is demonstrated by metal-to-metal threading. This is a designers' writing instrument for a designer and/or an enthusiast with a keen sense of style.
